Painting HeroQuest: Episode 8B - The Bard's Tattoo

In this video I show you how to paint the Bard’s tattoo from the 2021 version of HeroQuest, which I forgot to paint in the previous episode.

Steps

  1. 1 Revisit the finished Bard miniature and point out the anchor tattoo on the side of his arm that got missed in the original episode.
  2. 2 Using thinned black paint, freehand the curved bottom of the anchor and its two hooks.
  3. 3 Draw the vertical line running up his shoulder, working carefully to avoid the loot and his hat.
  4. 4 Add a short horizontal line near the top of the anchor's stem, then finish with a small dot for the loop at the very top.
