Steps

  1. 1 Paint the eyes with Sun Yellow, then dot in the pupils with pure Black.
  2. 2 Mix Cadmium Skin into Black to make a dark grey and use it to highlight the upper areas of all the fur.
  3. 3 Fill in the base runes with White, matching the previous videos in the series.
  4. 4 Continue building the fur highlight in short, quick strokes, working in progressively more Cadmium Skin and keeping to the upper portions of the limbs, tail, head, and leg bends.
  5. 5 Mix Bloody Red with Cadmium Skin for a pinkish peach and use it for the inside of the ears and the nose.
  6. 6 Dot in the nose with the same pinkish peach mix.
  7. 7 Return to highlighting with more Cadmium Skin mixed into Black, continuing to layer up short strokes for a furry texture.
  8. 8 Push the highlight brighter with further layers of the Cadmium Skin and Black mix.
  9. 9 Wash the entire miniature with Black Wash, skipping the ears, nose, and eyes.
  10. 10 Dry-brush pure Black over the base's runed areas, then fill in the rest of the base with Black.
  11. 11 Finish with a tiny dot of White in the corner of each eye for a glint.
